Eva Halpern is an extremely competent and experienced therapist as well as a delightful person. I have had back pain for many years. I have had two spinal fusions, numerous injections, other physical therapy and was considering a third fusion when I read about the McKenzie method. Eva is certified and experienced in this method. From my first visit with her, when she determined my condition and my needs, I have continued to improve. Each visit is a one on one, with the same therapist. I am so very grateful to Eva for the many ways she has helped me and taught me to help myself. Finding Wesley Chapel Physical Therapy and Eva Halpern has been life changing for me!

I was referred to Wesley Chapel Physical Therapy and Associates for a pinched nerve in my neck. I was in constant pain and unable to do basically anything without pain. I began to improve almost immediately after starting physical therapy. After 2 months I have no pain and am able to do everything. When I first got diagnosed with pelvic floor issues and IC, my world was completely turned upset down. I had months of pain and inexplicable symptoms that seemed to arise out of nowhere. I was perfectly healthy, until I wasn't. When I finally got a name for these strange symptoms, my brain was spinning as I was trying to contemplate all the ways that my life would not be the same. My hobbies, my relationship with my husband -- I was fearful for all of it. My doctor gave me Eva's name and I made it an appointment with her immediately. The first thing that I will say about Eva (and Mario, though I've not personally worked with him) is that you will immediately feel welcomed. Pelvic issues are personal and I was feeling incredibly vulnerable, but Eva's bedside manner is impeccable and my mind was put at ease. My body was not cooperative at first. It seemed like every time we tried something, it would scream in rebellion. I would make progress, then I would regress and get discouraged. Each time, Eva would encourage me and tell me that I would get there (to a good place) in time. She also told me that I had to believe in my body's desire to heal itself. I was skeptical as I had honestly resigned myself to fully miserable, but overtime, my mind surrendered and my body, eventually, did too. Little by little, things began to change. In my discussions with Eva, I was not only able to target physical discomforts, but I was also able to identify other trigger areas in my life that needed to be addressed. It's been a little over 4 months since my first appointment with Eva and I can honestly say, she has given me my life back. Through months of hard work and dedication, my body has relented and I've been able to do the things that I enjoy again! There are no words to express how grateful I am for Eva's diligence in helping to heal my body/mind, and her compassion through the process. I could have never gotten to this point without her! If you need physical therapy, particularly for pelvic floor issues, then I could not recommend Eva enough! She is dedicated to her patients and will be with you every step of the way! I am beyond thankful that she was recommended to me. She has truly changed my life and she can change yours, too!

My doctor refereed me to Westley Chapel Physical Therapy. That was a blessing. Mariusz was my therapist. He created an exercise plan geared to my particular problems. He listened to me and taught me many things to help me avoid pain, while strengthening my muscles. I have a rare neurological,, connective tissue disease. I have been in a lot of pain for years. Since the first meeting with Mariusz I have been in less pain and I have more movement in my muscles. He also give me a messages which helped keep my muscle from hurting as much.
